Every volunteer with the charity is now checked through the Criminal Records Bureau.

While the procedure is a condition of the adoption of a vulnerable persons’ policy – called an Anti Racism, Harassment and Victimisation policy in our case – from April 1, 2007, the moves ensure we are following guidelines set by the Charity Commission for those working with the disabled.
